Pemerintahan Jokowi dinilai berhasil melakukan penertiban PKL di kawasan Pasar Minggu dan Pasar Tanah Abang. Keberhasilan ini antara lain terlihat dari kondisi kedua tempat tersebut yang  tidak lagi sembrawut. Pedagang tidak tumpah ruah ke jalan. Selain menghilangkan potensi kemacetan, pemandangan kota pun menjadi lebih segar. Bukan itu saja, penertiban ini juga menunjukkan penegakan supremasi hukum di Ibu Kota.
