Indonesia Prakarsai Pelatihan Juru Runding Negara Berkembang

Indonesia kembali prakarsai even internasional di bidang diplomasi. Kali ini selaku Ketua Kelompok 77, Indonesia bersama China memprakarsai diadakannya pelatihan juru runding negara berkembang yang pertama di Markas Besar PBB di Jenewa selama dua hari, 19-20 November 2012.

Wakil Tetap RI untuk PBB, WTO dan Organisasi Internasional lainnya di Jenewa, Duta Besar Triyono Wibowo, Selasa (20/11), mengatakan inisiatif Indonesia didasari semangat Konferensi Asia-Afrika tahun 1955 yang merupakan awal bangkitnya rasa persaudaraan dan komunitas negara berkembang.

"Semangat itulah yang kemudian menjadi dasar dibentuknya Kelompok 77 dan China pada tahun 1964," ucapnya. (Ant/RZY)
